Jason McClaren joined Paris Regional Medical Center in April of 2016. Mr. McClaren has an extensive background of experience, training, and education in the field of emergency services and first responder activities, which includes fire and rescue services, hazardous materials mitigation, physical security, fire inspection, fire investigation, communications, and emergency management. Mr. McClaren has served in a number of positions in his areas of expertise, ranging from front line staff member, crew leader, program manager and department director.
Among his many skills, Mr. McClaren's greatest strengths include the ability to lead and manage projects to a successful conclusion, the skill to build a strong rapport with others through the establishment of an atmosphere of trust and openness, the ability to work effectively under pressure, offer objective and fair decisions, and give clear, logical direction. His previous positions include Fire Station Captain (Staff Sergeant) with the United States Air Force Fire Department, 9-1-1 Dispatcher with the City of Plano Texas, Assistant Director of Facilities and Fire Safety Manager for Southern Methodist University and Director of Safety & Security at CHI St. Luke’s Health – Brazosport. Mr. McClaren has a B.S. in Fire Science Management and a M.A. in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University. |
